Rooftop New Year's Eve Party

The Project
Rooftop events have a predictable problem.
Everything is moving. Lighting changes by the minute. Staff are busy. Guests still need clear information.
For this New Year’s Eve rooftop party at Sugar, the brief was to improve guest flow and atmosphere without introducing complexity. The hotel team needed screens they could position quickly, update easily, and trust to run all night.
The Project
We specified MS Poster because it matches how hospitality events actually work.
It is a freestanding vertical DV-LED designed for fast deployment, with integrated mobility, front-serviceable modules, and plug-and-play operation. It is also protected with GOB for durability in busy environments.
Brightness was handled with discipline.
MS Poster is built for event and retail-floor conditions, with typical brightness around 600 nits, not direct midday sun. For this rooftop setting, the screens were used in the evening and positioned in sheltered areas of the lounge where content remains crisp without needing to force output.
We used the posters for three jobs:
- Arrival and entry messaging to reduce bottlenecks.
- Wayfinding and service cues that guests can understand at a glance.
- Sponsor and campaign loops that feel integrated, not bolted on.
The result was calmer operations and a better-paced guest experience. No complicated rigging. No specialist crew on standby. Just reliable DV-LED that the venue can reuse for the next event.
