SMD
Surface-Mounted Diode. The established standard for indoor LED displays. SMD delivers strong visual performance, accurate colour reproduction, and reliable brightness in controlled lighting environments. It remains the best value option for most indoor applications
MIP
Micro-in-Package. A newer chip architecture that delivers higher brightness with improved thermal efficiency. MIP panels run cooler than traditional high-output LEDs, which extends lifespan and reduces energy costs. Available in configurations reaching higher peak brightness than standard SMD.
GOB
Glue-on-Board. A transparent resin layer applied across the LED surface, protecting individual pixels from physical impact, moisture, and dust. GOB is the right choice for high-traffic retail environments, public-facing displays, or any installation where the screen may be touched or bumped.

For larger installations viewed from 3–5 metres, a slightly wider pitch (1.9mm) offers the same visual impact at a more cost-effective price point. The MS Pro Series (SMD) is available in 1.25mm, 1.5mm, 1.87mm, and 2.5mm pixel pitch configurations. 1.25mm is recommended for close-viewing environments where image detail and visual refinement are critical, such as luxury retail and corporate interiors. 1.5mm and 1.87mm provide an effective balance between resolution, scale, and cost for most commercial installations. 2.5mm is well suited to larger displays or spaces with increased viewing distances. Pixel pitch selection is guided by viewing distance, screen size, content type, and ambient conditions.
